The party demands an investigation into the incident and identification of those behind it.

The Yisrael Beiteinu party (Our Home Israel) has filed a complaint with the police and an appeal to the Central Elections Committee regarding a campaign to discredit its leader, Knesset member Avigdor Liberman. This was reported on October 20 by the party's press service. According to the statement, in recent days, SMS messages were mass-sent from anonymous numbers to Russian-speaking Israelis. The messages contained a link to a specially created website that hosted defamatory and offensive material about Liberman and his family. The party demands an investigation into the incident, identification of those behind it, and the sources of funding for the campaign. Due to the large amount of material created using AI and other methods of misleading citizens, the Central Elections Committee has published a special section on its website about fakes and ways to file complaints.
