Yaron Zelicha stings Netanyahu: "What has he done without me in the last 20 years? We all know"

Prof. Yaron Zelicha attacks Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an interview on 103fm, questioning what Netanyahu has achieved without him in the last twenty years. Zelicha estimates his party will win seven seats and become the kingmaker, and presents a plan to lower the cost of living including a "shock and awe day" for monopolies and exclusive importers.

Prof. Yaron Zelicha, chairman of the Economic Party, attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an interview on 103fm with a rhetorical question: "What has he done without me in the last 20 years? We all know." Zelicha estimated that his party would win seven seats and become the kingmaker, presenting himself as the decisive factor in forming a coalition. He detailed an economic plan including lowering supermarket prices by tens of percent, breaking monopolies in banking, insurance, and cars, and abolishing all tariffs and import quotas. Zelicha declared a "shock and awe day" for monopolies and exclusive importers. He compared his expected power to that of Naftali Bennett, who demanded and received the premiership with six seats. Zelicha emphasized that he and Yoaz Hendel would conduct coalition negotiations together, and that their goal is the Finance Ministry to lower the cost of living alongside a blocking bloc against draft evasion. He attacked Gadi Eisenkot and claimed that the "capital-supremacy" gang that rallied behind Ehud Olmert now supports Eisenkot, and that he fought this gang until Olmert went to prison. Zelicha stated that his party does not participate in the "musical chairs" game of mutual accusations, but focuses on actions.
