"Bibists are only Mizrahim, there is no connection between the hand that places the ballot and the brain"

Businesswoman Galia Albin said on the podcast "Hakol Patuach" that Mizrahi supporters of Netanyahu vote without independent thought, and called Netanyahu "Ashkenazi, privileged, and snobbish." Host Avi Shoshan distanced himself from the ethnic labeling, but Albin did not retract her statements. Prime Minister Netanyahu condemned her remarks as "racism and humiliation."

Businesswoman Galia Albin made a series of racist and condescending remarks toward Mizrahi voters identified with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an interview on the podcast "Hakol Patuach" hosted by Avi Shoshan. Albin claimed that "Bibists are only Mizrahim" and that "there is no connection between the hand that places the ballot and the brain." She described conversations with women from Sderot and Dimona, who she said told her that voting for Likud is a family tradition. Host Avi Shoshan, himself Mizrahi, distanced himself from the ethnic labeling and asked to stop it, but Albin did not retract. She added that Netanyahu himself is "Ashkenazi, privileged, snobbish" and not truly a Bibist. Albin revealed that she intends to vote for Naftali Bennett and presented a scenario where Bennett would be prime minister, Gadi Eisenkot defense minister, and Yair Lapid foreign minister. Prime Minister Netanyahu responded harshly, writing: "I was shocked... the condescension and humiliation of millions of Israelis who vote for the right in Israel is nothing less than repulsive."
