Yaki Admaker: "The Shin Bet erred in interpreting intelligence, they are trying to pin it on the Prime Minister"

On Channel 14's "The Patriots" program, panelist Yaki Admaker claimed that the media campaign against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the warnings before October 7 is political. Admaker said that the Shin Bet is the one that erred in interpreting the intelligence, and that the warnings first reached the Shin Bet, not the Prime Minister.

On Channel 14's "The Patriots" program, panelist Yaki Admaker attacked the media campaign against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the warnings he received before the events of October 7. Admaker claimed that this is a political attempt to shift the blame onto Netanyahu, while the entity that erred in interpreting the intelligence was the Shin Bet. He referred to an investigation by Shlomi Eldar in Haaretz, according to which Netanyahu received a specific warning days before the attack. Admaker noted that both warnings—one from Egypt and one from the "axis of Ben Zait and Dahlan"—first reached the Shin Bet, and only later the Prime Minister. In his view, Eldar's headline is political and aims to shift the blame onto Netanyahu. Admaker emphasized that the entire affair is political, and the investigation itself is political. Admaker's claims reflect the editorial line of Channel 14, which is identified with the right and perceived as a pro-Netanyahu platform.
