He cited polls in which he is seen as the head of the Foreign Ministry and noted that he has already held this position. Opposition leader Yair Lapid stated in an interview with Vesti that he is vying for the position of foreign minister in the future government. "In all the polls we conducted, people responded that they see me as the head of the Foreign Ministry. I have already held this position, and they say I was a good foreign minister. I know how to do it, it's my profession. And, as you understand, there is much to fix in the work of the Foreign Ministry," Lapid said. He also addressed questions about his alliance with Naftali Bennett, the decline in Yesh Atid's ratings, the possibility of including ultra-Orthodox parties in the future government, and emerging ideas about a rotation between Gadi Eisenkot and Benjamin Netanyahu.
