A new public opinion poll conducted by Channel 13 paints a picture of an extremely tense balance of power in the future Knesset. The Yashar party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, maintains its lead but loses one seat compared to last week, receiving 21 seats. The ruling Likud party shows positive momentum, strengthening to 19 seats. The further distribution of seats is as follows: Beyahad and Democratim — 11 each, Yisrael Beiteinu and the Joint List — 9 each, Otzma Yehudit and Yahadut HaTorah — 8 each, Shas and the Zionut Datit — Zeut bloc — 7 each, Ra'am and Amkha Israel — 5 each. In the global confrontation, the coalition bloc garners 54 seats, the opposition (without Arab factions) — 52. Beyond the ratings, the poll revealed strong public support for establishing a state commission of inquiry into the events of October 7: 69% in favor, 15% against, 15% undecided. Also, 65% support legislative term limits for the prime minister, with 87% of opposition voters sharing this initiative, compared to only 36% in the coalition camp.
