"We removed the threat — and here it is back", the warning ahead of a strike on Iran

Brig. Gen. (res.) Zvika Haimovich criticizes the media's focus on the possible timing of a strike on Iran and warns against repeated rounds of fighting. According to him, "We removed the threat — and here it is back," and he calls for defining a clear strategic goal before embarking on another campaign. Haimovich said that Israel borrowed a concept from the Hamas world and is using it regarding Iran, and that society cannot cope with rounds every six months. He praised the coordination between the Israeli air defense array and American forces, noting that Israel is the only place where the U.S. deploys under the command of the local air force. According to him, the coordination between the armies continues and is used for joint training and drawing lessons from April 2026.
