Warning signs around a building at risk of collapse in Gaza
Gaza Municipality placed warning signs around the damaged Al-Najma building, hit by occupation shelling on Palestine Street, to warn displaced persons and citizens to stay away. The municipality continues its precautionary measures to monitor damaged buildings and renewed its appeal to international bodies to provide safe shelters and equipment to deal with the buildings.
Teams from Gaza Municipality placed warning signs around the damaged Al-Najma building, which was hit by occupation shelling on Palestine Street, near the Palestine Mosque, to warn displaced persons and citizens to stay away due to the danger it poses to their safety. The municipality continues its precautionary measures to monitor damaged and at-risk buildings, alongside conducting awareness and guidance campaigns and notifying citizens and displaced persons of the dangers of these buildings and the need to keep away. The municipality renewed its appeal to international and humanitarian bodies to provide safe shelters for the displaced, as well as equipment and machinery to deal with damaged buildings and reduce the risk of their collapse.
