According to the municipality's announcement, SMS messages are being distributed that impersonate official messages from the municipal collection department, in which residents are required to pay alleged debts by clicking on an attached link. The municipality states unequivocally that the messages currently circulating are not in the accepted format and are not sent by it at all. The official messages of the collection department do not include links for payment. The municipality calls on the public not to click on the links, not to provide personal or credit card details, and to share the warning to prevent financial harm to residents.
