Founded in 2011 by Gil Pekelman and Itai Tsur, the company developed a platform for managing IT systems in organizations that integrates AI agents to autonomously resolve technical issues. In recent years, the company expanded its activities in the field of artificial intelligence, including through Robin technology for automatic fault detection and resolution. The company currently has about 450 employees and operates mainly in international markets, including the US and Europe. Atera raised capital over the years from investors, including the American investment fund K1 Investment Management. The company stated that the changes are intended to improve efficiency and focus resources on strategic priorities, while continuing to invest in the IT management platform and Robin technology.
