"They knew the way to topple Netanyahu goes through the Haredim"
Commentator Mati Tuchfeld criticized the Change Bloc on Radio North for shifting its stance on the Haredim and the conscription law after the elections, calling it 'hypocrisy and lies'. He assessed that Gadi Eisenkot will receive the mandate to form the government but will struggle to build a coalition.
Political commentator Mati Tuchfeld attacked the Change Bloc on Radio North 104.5FM for changing its attitude toward the Haredim and the conscription law after the elections. Tuchfeld accused the bloc of hypocrisy and lies, claiming that after they slandered and vilified the Haredi sector and called the conscription law a 'draft-dodging law', now, following the election results, they call it a 'softened conscription law' and try to enlist Haredi support to form a government. According to him, the previous government under Netanyahu recruited the most Haredim ever, yet was called a 'draft-dodging government'. Tuchfeld estimated that Gadi Eisenkot will receive the mandate to form the government, but will struggle to build a coalition and will have to choose between relying on the Arab parties or a safety net of Ra'am and United Torah Judaism.
