Two killed in serious accident near Giv'ot Bar, Highway 310 blocked
Two men in their 30s were killed in a fatal road accident on Highway 310 near Giv'ot Bar in southern Israel. MDA teams pronounced their death at the scene after they suffered severe multi-system trauma. Traffic investigators have opened an investigation and the road was blocked to traffic in both directions.
Two men in their 30s were killed today (Thursday) in a fatal road accident on Highway 310, near the community of Giv'ot Bar in southern Israel. The accident involved two vehicles that collided head-on. Medics and paramedics from Magen David Adom who were called to the scene were forced to pronounce the death of the two men, who suffered severe multi-system trauma and were pulseless and breathless. MDA emergency medic Razak Altouri described the scene as "shocking" and noted that the vehicles sustained severe sheet metal damage to their front parts, and one of them was on the median barrier. Meanwhile, the Israel Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. Officers from the Rahat station and traffic accident investigators from the Negev district arrived at the scene and began traffic management operations. The road was closed to traffic in both directions until the scene is cleared.
