US President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video on Truth Social in which he 'tames' the tiger that killed a 23-year-old man in Britain. The video garnered millions of views and sparked outrage, partly due to the victim's family's request to stop sharing the original footage. Users attacked Trump, calling him an 'idiot' and a 'sociopath'.
US President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video on Truth Social today (Wednesday) that garnered millions of views, in which he 'tames' the tiger that killed 23-year-old William Chapman in Britain last weekend. Unlike the original footage, where the tiger repeatedly attacked the young man, in the version posted by the president, he was the one controlling the event and even subdued the animal at the end. Criticism against the president was not long in coming. One user wrote: 'He's a sociopath, he has no filter when it comes to right or wrong,' and another added: 'What an absolute idiot.' Another user mentioned the young man's family's request to stop sharing the video, writing: 'His family revealed they are distressed by posts that repeatedly confront them with the tragedy. When the US president posts this, it's utterly embarrassing!' William Chapman was killed last weekend at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Britain after entering the tiger enclosure and being attacked by one of the tigers. Following the incident, President Trump shared the footage on the network and wrote: 'Never mess with nature!' The young man's family called on the public to stop sharing the attack video, saying its distribution causes them severe distress. According to them, the coroner should determine whether his medical history played a role in his death.
