In a promo for an interview with Omri Assenheim on Channel 13, Chairman of the "Yashar!" party and former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot addressed the AI video Likud spread featuring a figure resembling his late son Gal, who was killed in the Gaza Strip in December 2023. Eisenkot said one of his aides showed him the video, and when asked about his feelings, he stated: "Deep contempt for Netanyahu and his circle." According to him, the video's purpose is "hatred and fear" — the same strategy he claims the prime minister has used for thirty years. Eisenkot shared that his wife Hana was deeply hurt by the video and felt "great anger." The full interview will air tomorrow. The original video was published last July on Netanyahu's Twitter account and sparked public controversy due to its resemblance to Eisenkot's son.
