IAF forces struck today (Sunday) in the Khan Younis area in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated Maad Gamal Abu Nseira, a commander in the military wing of the terrorist organization Hamas. The operation was carried out as part of security forces' efforts to persistently target the command chain of the organization's terrorists in the Strip and to remove immediate threats. In another strike carried out yesterday (Saturday), Mahmoud Ibrahim Dib Alyan, a terrorist in Hamas's observation array, was eliminated from the air. Recently, the terrorist was identified while advancing terrorist schemes against IDF forces in the yellow line area, and worked to restore the organization's capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire agreement. The military emphasized that prior to the strikes, steps were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and continuous aerial surveillance. IDF forces under Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
