Apartment prices in Israel have changed sharply

The Israeli apartment market is experiencing a downturn amid a decline in the number of transactions, but some sales still took place at the end of September. Examples of apartment prices are given in Be'er Sheva, Kiryat Gat, Ashdod, and Harish. The average price of a sold apartment nationwide reached 2.39 million shekels, an increase of 3.9% compared to the first half of 2025.

In Be'er Sheva, a two-room apartment of 50 sq. m on Yitzhak Reger Street was sold for 690,000 shekels. A four-room apartment of 105 sq. m on Sha'ar HaGai Street cost the buyer 940,000 shekels. A five-room cottage of 180 sq. m on a 370 sq. m plot on Almog Street was purchased for 2.52 million shekels. In Kiryat Gat, a three-room apartment of 70 sq. m with a 12 sq. m balcony, elevator, safe room, and parking space on Nahal Ne'eman Street was sold for 1.5 million shekels. In Ashdod, a three-room home of 88 sq. m with a 14 sq. m balcony, safe room, and parking on Natan Elbaz Street went for 1.55 million shekels. Another deal in the city involved a four-room apartment of 128 sq. m with a 14 sq. m balcony on HaAnavim Street, costing 2.15 million shekels. In Ashdod, a five-room apartment of 157 sq. m with a 12 sq. m balcony on Afarsemon Street was sold for 2.66 million shekels. In Harish, a three-room apartment of 78 sq. m on Te'ena Street was sold for 1.21 million shekels. The property also has parking and a safe room. Earlier, Kursor reported that in the first half of 2026, the Israeli housing market developed unevenly. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, the average price of a sold apartment nationwide reached 2.39 million shekels, an increase of 3.9% compared to the same period in 2025.
