The party that will do the impossible? The chance that Hendl and Zalicha will pass, and how it will affect the blocs
The chance that Yoaz Hendl and Yaron Zalicha will pass the electoral threshold is low but not zero, due to expected support in double envelopes. If they pass, it will affect the balance of the blocs.
The chance that Yoaz Hendl and Yaron Zalicha will pass the electoral threshold is low but not zero, due to expected support in double envelopes. As of 85.6% of the votes counted, nearly 128,000 envelopes with the "Di" slip have been counted, and the list needs about another 57,500 votes. While among the general public the two received about 2.6%, in the double envelopes the support rate is expected to rise, partly due to traditionally higher support for Zionist parties and Hendl's appeal to reservists. A survey among reservists from August gave Hendl 9 seats, and a survey among first-time voters from October gave him and Zalicha 6 seats. If they pass, those who may lose seats are Shas, Together, the Joint List, and Yashar, and the Eisenkot bloc would shrink to 46 and the Netanyahu bloc to 52. Hendl said he wants a Zionist government not reliant on Haredim or Arabs, and that he does not want Netanyahu to remain prime minister.
