Israeli gamers are facing a severe shortage of PlayStation 5 consoles ahead of the launch of GTA 6. Major electronics chains in Israel, including Bug, Dinamica, and KSP, list the PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro models as out of stock. Prices for the 2TB PS5 Pro on the Zap website have surged to 6,198 to 6,779 shekels, compared to an official launch price of around 3,300 to 3,500 shekels. The shortage is attributed to Rockstar's distribution policy, which will launch GTA 6 initially exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, with no PC version expected. Meanwhile, Sony is under security pressure due to reports of progress in developing a hack for the console on software version 14.10, which is required to run the game.
