Finance Minister and chairman of Religious Zionism, Bezalel Smotrich, was interviewed this morning (Monday) at the "People of the State" conference of ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth. In the interview, Smotrich stated that "in a year, the court will force the IDF to return the Gazans and open its doors to Hezbollah terrorists," referring to a High Court ruling that required advancing a timetable for ending the operation in the refugee camps in Judea and Samaria. Smotrich harshly attacked Ofer Winter, saying that "there is absolutely no chance that Winter passes the electoral threshold," and that if he brings down the right wing, "he will be remembered in infamy." He also addressed his relationship with Itamar Ben Gvir, saying he is a "full partner" and that "there is no significance to half a mandate moving from Likud to him." Smotrich was also asked about Haredi education and replied that there is a need to integrate the Haredi population into the army and the job market.
