Israeli police solve murder of Ziad Bishara, suspect arrested
Israeli police announced they solved the murder of Ziad Bishara, who was lured from Al-Tira to Al-Taybeh and shot dead months ago. A suspect was arrested and an indictment is expected.
The Central District Attorney's Office submitted an indictment to the Central-Lod District Court against Abd Masrouha (30), a resident of Tira, for the joint murder of Ziad Bashara, which occurred about three months ago near the Science High School in Tayibe. According to the indictment, Masrouha methodically planned the murder: he contacted the victim, presented himself as someone offering work in woodworking and pergolas, and sent him to an isolated location. The victim arrived at the scene with his wife and their 4-year-old daughter. Two masked individuals on a motorcycle arrived at the scene, and one of them shot the victim at close range in front of his wife. His death was declared at the scene. The shooters have not yet been arrested. The prosecution requested that Masrouha be detained until the end of proceedings.
