Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen predicts another focused military operation against Iran
Speaking at the Taglit Business Summit in Tel Aviv, former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen estimated that another focused military operation against Iran will occur, citing Iran's continued advancement of capabilities and lack of good-faith negotiations.
Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen estimated that another focused military operation will take place in Iran. He made the remarks at the first international business summit of the Taglit organization in Tel Aviv, attended by about 350 investors, entrepreneurs, and managers from Israel and around the world. Cohen said that Iran continues to advance its capabilities and may be rehabilitating facilities, and that Israel must ensure these capabilities do not remain in its hands. According to him, the Iranians are not negotiating in good faith, and President Trump insists on a good deal and is unwilling to compromise on a bad one. Cohen addressed the security cooperation with the United States and said that joint activity against Iran has been a central goal over the years. However, he qualified the possibility of overthrowing the Iranian regime from the outside, stating that this must be done from within by the Iranians themselves. Cohen added that the strikes carried out in Iran damaged significant military infrastructure, including nuclear and missile capabilities. He later addressed the rise in anti-Semitism worldwide and the importance of protecting Jewish communities outside Israel.
