Gabriela Rodriguez Tsuko, 18, was killed after being thrown from the "Pendulum" amusement ride at a festival in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Her safety bar rose for an unclear reason, and she was ejected from her seat, falling to her death. The footage was filmed by another rider on the ride and was shared on social media. Christian Agundez, head of the Los Cabos district, said the ride has been closed and safety inspections will be conducted. The state prosecutor's office has opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The accident occurred about a week after another fatal incident in the US, where a person was killed on a roller coaster at a Six Flags park.
