A resident of Yokne'am in the Jezreel Valley discovered that gold jewelry worth an estimated 60,000 shekels was stolen from her home. When she checked the security camera in the living room, she was surprised to find that the person who entered her home and stole the jewelry was her neighbor. The neighbor, aged 54, was indicted for burglary, theft, and property damage. According to the indictment, on October 20 at around 11:11 AM, the defendant entered the neighbors' home while the family was not there. The front door was locked, but the defendant managed to break in by an unknown means. Among the stolen items were gold bracelets, necklaces, gold watches, rings, and earrings. During his interrogation at the police station, the defendant became unruly, pushed officers, knocked over a computer screen, and spilled a cup of drink on documents. Superintendent Kanan Azaldin, head of the investigations unit at the Migdal HaEmek station, said that the camera installed in the victim's home led to a swift arrest.
