Just two weeks after a young woman canceled her wedding, the police filed a statement of charges against her former fiancé and another suspect, attributing to them involvement in setting her car on fire. According to the suspicion, after the wedding was called off, the fiancé began threatening her and later sent another person, serving as an "enforcer," to set her car ablaze. The investigation began on September 16 following a report of a car fire involving the young woman's vehicle. Officers from the Shevet station in the Jerusalem district gathered evidence and investigated the circumstances, during which suspicion arose regarding the involvement of the two suspects. The police investigation revealed that the main suspect and the young woman were in a relationship and even engaged. After she decided to cancel the wedding, according to the suspicion, the former fiancé began threatening her. Subsequently, he allegedly sent the second suspect to her car, who arrived at the scene and set it on fire. The two suspects, residents of East Jerusalem aged 23 and 26, were arrested and questioned.
