Three unusual incidents took place on the yellow line in the Gaza Strip, as reported on Saturday night. In one incident, a terrorist managed to infiltrate the guard post at an IDF outpost located 800 meters from the yellow line, and then fled back to Hamas-controlled territory. In a similar incident, a terrorist crossed the yellow line and reached a distance of 100 meters from an IDF outpost; soldiers identified him and fired at him, but he escaped back to Hamas territory. In the third incident, a force of clans operating under Israeli auspices entered a search in a structure within the yellow line area, and upon entry a powerful explosive device was activated on the force, constituting a violation by Hamas. An IDF spokesperson responded that the incidents were investigated and lessons were learned, and that in none of the cases was there an infiltration of a military outpost. According to him, in the first incident a suspect arrest procedure was carried out and the suspect was arrested; in the second incident the suspect was eliminated before reaching the outpost. No response was given to the third incident.
