The denial follows an investigation published by Haaretz, according to which about a week and a half before the massacre, bin Zayed and Netanyahu spoke for about 45 minutes, during which the UAE president warned that Yahya Sinwar was planning a significant move against Israel that could lead to bloodshed, shake the region, and harm the Abraham Accords. The Prime Minister's Office denied the claims, stating that no such call took place during the period in question. Meanwhile, a source close to the UAE government told N12 last week that a warning was indeed passed from Abu Dhabi to Israel before October 7, but did not specify its exact content, how it was delivered, or to whom, and did not claim it was passed during a call between bin Zayed and Netanyahu.
