The prosecution had sought a 13-year sentence, but the punishment was set under a plea deal that did not include an agreement between the parties regarding the sentence. As part of the deal, Levin committed to depositing 750,000 shekels as compensation to the victims, informing the Ministry of Health that he would no longer practice medicine, and requesting the permanent revocation of his medical license. According to the amended indictment, in one count Levin was convicted of raping the mother of a minor who was his patient in 2013. In another count, he was convicted of indecent acts against a patient suffering from colitis in 2017-2018.
