An Israeli security source told Walla that Hezbollah is rebuilding its capabilities in Beirut, and that the IDF is preparing for the possibility of renewed fighting with the organization, especially in a scenario of an Israeli or American attack on Iran. The source said Israel is dissatisfied with the Lebanese army's enforcement of understandings, and noted that the exposure of a tunnel in East Beirut by the Lebanese army was intended to indicate activity, while Hezbollah is moving capabilities from southern Lebanon to the capital. According to him, Hezbollah holds diverse combat capabilities sufficient for several months of fighting, including rockets, missiles, and drones, and is working to train anti-tank and observation squads.
