A new poll by "Israel 2050" among 409 young people aged 18-35 reveals that 75% would consider voting for another party that focuses on long-term solutions for housing, education, and transportation. Housing prices top the agenda at 38%, while only 4% cited the security situation as the main issue. Satisfaction with the state is below 4 out of 10 in all areas.
A new poll by the "Israel 2050" association among 409 young people aged 18-35 reveals a significant shift in the political priorities of Israel's younger generation. 75% of respondents stated they would consider voting for a party they had not considered before, if it demonstrated the ability to promote long-term solutions on issues important to them. Housing prices are the most burning issue at 38%, more than double any other issue. In contrast, only 4% cited the security situation as the issue of greatest weight. Satisfaction with the state is low: housing prices received a score of 2.5 out of 10, and the education and transportation systems each scored 3.5. 42% of young people said that leadership that places economic-civil solutions at the top of its priorities would inspire the most hope in them. The CEO of Israel 2050, Or Ben Dori, stated that "young people in Israel are not asking for big promises - they want to know what 'life itself' will look like here." The poll was conducted by the Rushink Institute in August 2026.
