He later hinted that the end would come "a little after the elections, or before." Meanwhile, Axios reported that Trump plans to hold a meeting next week with leaders from Gulf states on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly to discuss the war and plans for the day after. The meeting is expected to include Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman. At the same time, the US announced it would extend visa sanctions against senior Palestinian Authority and PLO officials, and denied the visa request of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, barring him from traveling to New York for his address to the General Assembly.
