Saada in harsh attack on Mandelblit: "The prosecution is at its lowest point, they framed Netanyahu"

MK Moshe Saada (Likud) harshly attacked former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit, calling the prosecution's conduct "criminal" and claiming that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's case was "framed." Saada accused Mandelblit, Shai Nitzan, and Roni Alsheich of obstructing the investigation and called on former Military Secretary Avi Gil to apologize for failing to update Netanyahu on a real-time war warning.

MK Moshe Saada (Likud) harshly attacked former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit during an interview on Radio North 104.5FM. Saada called the prosecution's conduct "criminal" and claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's case was "framed" by Mandelblit, former State Attorney Shai Nitzan, and former Police Commissioner Roni Alsheich. Saada accused Mandelblit of obstructing the investigation and attempting to avoid testimony, arguing that the trial should have ended in an acquittal given the authority's conduct. Additionally, Saada attacked former Military Secretary Avi Gil, claiming he knew about a war warning and did not update Netanyahu in real time. Saada called on Gil to apologize for his failure. These remarks come ahead of Mandelblit's expected testimony in Netanyahu's trial. Saada noted that Mandelblit requested a one-month delay claiming he is a dean of a law school, while the prime minister is fighting on seven fronts. Saada concluded by saying, "The curtain will rise and the public will see what this man has done."
