Dr. Ronen Bergman, a researcher and journalist, was interviewed on 103FM and sharply criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's conduct surrounding the events of October 7. Bergman claimed that Netanyahu tends to evade responsibility, and that "the bottom line is that he is not guilty of anything and everyone is guilty of everything." According to him, Netanyahu takes fragments of sentences and paragraphs from discussions to build a narrative that clears him of blame. Bergman referred to reports that Netanyahu received a warning from the United Arab Emirates before the attack, noting that a follow-up to Shlomi Eldar's story in Haaretz was published. According to him, there was a phone call and a warning, and Mohammed bin Zayed told several people about it, including Bill Burns, the CIA director. Bergman added that it is hard to assume bin Zayed would lie to Burns. Bergman further claimed that Netanyahu belittles everyone who is not him, and thinks the Jewish state will be destroyed without him, so he allows himself not to tell. Bergman also responded to the Likud election video that attacked him and Guy Peleg, calling it "witch hunts against journalists."
