Former hostage Rom Braslavsky launched a public attack against Yashar party chairman Gadi Eisenkot, after his team refused an invitation to appear on the new podcast Braslavsky founded. Braslavsky posted a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) revealing screenshots of the correspondence with Eisenkot's team. The correspondence shows that Braslavsky initially approached Eisenkot with an offer to appear on the podcast's opening episode, offering to coordinate the questions in advance and promising that nothing would be published without approval. The team's response was brief: "We won't be able to right now, bro." However, later a spokesperson from Eisenkot's team contacted Braslavsky and offered a meeting and a "warm hug" from him and his father. Braslavsky refused, writing that he does not wish to speak with politicians. He accused Eisenkot of hypocrisy and of attempting to ride on him politically, while refusing to appear on the podcast. He noted that Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, unlike Eisenkot, found 40 minutes to be interviewed by him. Braslavsky concluded with a renewed invitation for Eisenkot to come on his show, adding that it seems Eisenkot is "afraid."
