The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF), a Belgian pro-Palestinian organization, has filed a complaint with the US Department of Justice demanding the arrest of an Israeli citizen identified as S.G., who it claims is currently in the US. The organization marks S.G. as "potentially responsible" for the killing of five-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab in Gaza in early 2024. Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib joined the complaint, calling for the investigation and arrest of the Israeli soldier. The organization claims S.G. served as a company commander in the 52nd Armored Battalion of the 401st Brigade, and that his unit was responsible for the fire that caused the death of the girl, along with her family members and two Red Crescent paramedics. The organization also attributes to the unit unlawful killings, torture, and property destruction. As of the time of publication, there is no indication of any response from the US Department of Justice to the appeal.
