Reserve General: Our army is exhausted and a multi-front war threatens the survival of "Israel"

Reserve General Yitzhak Brik warned that the Israeli army is exhausted and unprepared for a multi-front war that could threaten Israel's survival, in an article in Maariv newspaper. He pointed to threats from Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and Iran, stating that the leadership has not learned the lessons of October 7.

Reserve General in the Israeli occupation army Yitzhak Brik warned on Sunday that the army is exhausted, depleted, and unprepared for a multi-front war that could threaten the survival of "Israel". Brik issued this warning in an article in the Hebrew newspaper "Maariv", titled "Borders breached, army exhausted: Israel is not ready for the next war". He said that the Israeli political and military leadership has not drawn the necessary lessons from the October 7, 2023 attack, and that "arrogance and hubris" are still present. He believed that Israel could face multi-front fighting starting from the West Bank and Gaza Strip, through Lebanon and Syria, to the borders with Jordan and Egypt, in addition to the Iranian threat. In Gaza, he claimed that Hamas has regained its military capabilities. He warned that Israel's survival is not guaranteed.
