The central unit of Lahav 433 arrested two suspects for involvement in the brutal murder of three family members from Jaljulia, who were found about a month ago in a burned car in Jatt, near Baqa al-Gharbiyye. One of the suspects is a kindergarten teacher by profession, as first reported by N12. The victims – Yahya Basmiya, 22, and brothers Qasem Odeh, 20, and Yazan, 16 – are members of one family from the Triangle and are known to police. The police investigation shows that the three spent time together at a wedding, and immediately after leaving the place their traces disappeared. The background to the incident is apparently criminal. Yahya's father, Alaa Basmiya, said his son was a "good and quiet boy" and that he does not know of any conflict he had. He added that "the state has finished us completely, the government has finished us completely."
