In remarks he published, Netanyahu called Golan's conduct a "disgrace" and also attacked members of his party, claiming that some praised the creators instead of condemning them. Netanyahu said he is not surprised, referring to the promotion of refusal to serve and a lawyer in the party who defends terrorists. He further added that Gadi Eisenkot will not cancel the surplus agreement with Golan, and that Lieberman, Bennett, and Lapid will join a left-wing bloc that includes Mansour Abbas. The remarks come amid the storm over the film, during which an investigator spoke with Democratic candidates, and most refrained from explicitly condemning the film.
