"Peace is a right.. and the city is life".. Art revives Gaza's memory and carries the dreams of its youth
The Gaza Municipality and the Municipal Youth Council organized an art exhibition titled "Peace is a right.. and the city is life" on the occasion of the International Day of Peace, with the participation of about 200 people. The exhibition was held at the home of former mayor Hajj Rashad al-Shawa, attended by Mayor Dr. Yahya al-Sarraj and his deputy Tamer al-Reis. The exhibition featured artworks about peace, hope, and reconstruction, as well as children's drawings expressing their aspirations, alongside artistic and cultural segments and a book corner.
The Gaza Municipality and the Municipal Youth Council, in partnership with the Future Youth Rescue Association, organized an art exhibition titled "Peace is a right.. and the city is life" on the occasion of the International Day of Peace. About 200 people from youth councils and partner institutions participated in the exhibition, which was held at the home of former Gaza Mayor Hajj Rashad al-Shawa. The opening was attended by Mayor Dr. Yahya al-Sarraj and his deputy Tamer al-Reis. Al-Sarraj emphasized the importance of establishing peace and the right of Gaza's residents to live in security and freedom, stressing that youth and children deserve a future befitting their dreams. The exhibition featured artworks addressing peace, hope, reconstruction, and environmental services, as well as children's drawings expressing their aspirations for a safer tomorrow. The event included artistic and cultural segments and a book corner. The exhibition embodied a space for expressing Gaza's memory and the experiences of its residents, carrying youth messages affirming their adherence to life and hope and building a future of peace.
