One of Israel's most beautiful beaches will undergo a multimillion-shekel transformation

The Aqueduct Beach in Caesarea will be upgraded with an investment of approximately 24 million shekels. The work will include full accessibility, parking, shading, and lighting, while preserving the Roman aqueduct. During the work, partial closures and changes to traffic arrangements are expected.

The Aqueduct Beach in Caesarea, one of the most well-known and crowded beaches in the area, is set to undergo a comprehensive upgrade with an investment of about 24 million shekels. The project, led by the Caesarea Development Corporation in collaboration with the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council and the Edmond de Rothschild Foundation, will include full accessibility of the beach strip for people with disabilities, renovation of parking areas, sidewalks, and infrastructure, installation of shading facilities, water fountains, lighting, and new beach furniture. The goal is to improve the visitor experience without harming the unique appearance of the beach and the ancient aqueduct. The head of the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council, Karsenti, noted that during the work there will be changes in traffic and parking arrangements, and parts of the beach will be closed intermittently to ensure visitor safety. He emphasized that this is a strategic investment that will serve the area's residents and strengthen Caesarea's status as an archaeological, cultural, tourism, and leisure site. The CEO of the Caesarea Development Corporation, Izak, added that the council will continue to invest in tourism development and infrastructure on the Carmel coast.
