Multiple violent clashes between settler extremists and Palestinians were reported across the West Bank during the week of the Sukkot holiday. The most severe incident occurred on Thursday in the village of Yasuf, where settlers shot two Palestinians, killing Mashour Yassin, 51, and wounding another. The village council head said settlers have been attacking continuously since an outpost was established near the village about two months ago. The IDF said it is investigating. Additional clashes were reported on Saturday in Beita, linked to olive harvest disputes, where the IDF intervened and bursts of gunfire were heard but no injuries reported. In Burin and Asira al Qibliya, south of Nablus, Palestinians said at least one person was wounded by stones thrown by settlers. The New Israel Fund director condemned the violence, stating these events are not happening in isolation and calling for prosecution of the attackers.
