15 scientists and researchers participate in Arab meeting on the occasion of World Space Week

The Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences is organizing an online scientific meeting with the participation of 15 scientists and researchers, coinciding with World Space Week and the "100 Hours of Astronomy" initiative. The meeting covers topics including scientific cooperation, earthquakes, space exploration, the Nancy Grace Roman Telescope, and a unified Arab observation of Saturn on October 9.

The Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences is organizing an online Arab scientific meeting this Saturday evening, with the participation of 15 scientists, researchers, engineers, and astronomers from various disciplines. The meeting coincides with the launch of World Space Week and the "100 Hours of Astronomy" initiative, running from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mecca time, under the patronage of the Union's President, Hamid Majoul Al-Nuaimi. The meeting sessions cover diverse topics including scientific cooperation, earthquakes, space exploration, the Nancy Grace Roman Telescope, 3D imaging, unified Arab observations, the history of Arab astronomy, rocket development, and space applications and cybersecurity. The meeting coincides with World Space Week (October 4-10), themed "Rocket Revolution," and the "100 Hours of Astronomy" initiative (October 1-4), themed "A New Perspective on Our Solar System." The Union is also preparing to organize a unified Arab observation of Saturn on October 9, with participants from Arab countries.
