Footage obtained by News 14 reveals ties formed in 2021 between elements of Ta'al, the party of Ahmad Tibi, and members of the "Palestinian Charity Association" operating in southern Turkey. At the center of the connection is Ahmad Darausha, a Ta'al figure who previously worked as an advisor and bureau chief for Tibi. Darausha was placed eighth on the joint list and was elected to the Knesset after the list won 11 seats. According to the footage, Darausha arrived in Turkey as part of humanitarian activities distributing food and blankets to refugees. During the visit, he was received by members of the charity association and met with senior figures identified with it, including Tarek Amiri, who was presented as the Fatah representative in southern Turkey. Alongside the aid activities, accounts associated with the association published praise for terrorists, including Udai al-Tamimi and Dalal Mughrabi. The report notes that the footage does not prove that the funds or equipment were used for terrorist activities, nor does it indicate a connection between the 2021 activities and the current suspicions under investigation regarding foreign interference in elections. Darausha is expected to be sworn in as a Knesset member in the coming days.
