Singer Omer Adam and Aroma Music have acquired 40.5% of the Zappa live music club chain. The deal includes a management and development agreement for the chain. The value of the deal has not been disclosed, but it is based on a previous transaction. The deal comes about a month and a half after Delek Israel purchased the stake of the American entertainment giant Events in Zappa for 20 million shekels, increasing its holding to 81%. Now Delek will hold 40.5% alongside Adam and producer Benny Menashe, a partner in Aroma Music. An additional 19% is held by Golan Einat. Zappa has performance venues in Binyamina, Haifa, Herzliya, Jerusalem, Latrun, and Tel Aviv, which will be managed by Adam and Aroma Music. Producer Menashe, one of the company's owners, was the "driving force" behind the deal. Aroma Music, formerly Hed Arzi, represents Israeli artists such as Idan Amedi, Shlomi Shabat, and Eden Ben Zaken. The deal was led on behalf of Delek by Yoram Eyal and Keren Kuperminz, and on behalf of the family by Yaniv Adam, the singer's father.
