The IDF arrested 18 Israeli rioters on suspicion of assaulting security personnel who were working to halt illegal construction at an outpost near Salfit in the West Bank. The military stated that the construction was taking place within a closed military zone where violent and unlawful acts have repeatedly originated. Rioters set tires on fire and placed roadblocks on major roads to prevent security forces from reaching the site. Security forces eventually cleared the obstructions and completed the operation. During the operation, several vehicles were seized, including one containing incendiary materials, weapons, and pepper spray. The 18 suspects have been transferred to the Judea and Samaria District for questioning.
