Occupation drones burn displaced persons' tents east of Khan Younis, fears of new displacement

Israeli 'quadcopter' drones burned tents of displaced persons east of Khan Younis with incendiary bombs, without injuries. The displaced rushed to extinguish the fires amid panic, and some left their tents fearing new targeting, with concerns of new displacement towards Al-Mawasi.

Last night, Israeli occupation 'quadcopter' drones burned tents of displaced persons near the so-called 'yellow line' on Salah al-Din Street, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, using incendiary bombs. The displaced rushed to extinguish the fires that engulfed their tents, amid a state of fear and panic, especially among women and children. Eyewitnesses told the 'Wafa' news agency that the targeting did not result in injuries, and the damage was limited to the burning of several tents. They added that a number of displaced persons were forced to leave their tents during the night, moving what they could of their belongings, fearing further targeting. The displaced expressed concerns that the burning of tents could be a prelude to a new wave of displacement towards the Al-Mawasi area, exacerbating their suffering.
