The article reviews tough prisons around the world, against the backdrop of the transfer of Agam Tzaref, accused of murdering Benyahu Razi, from Neve Tirza to Abu Kabir. Tzaref was transferred due to violations of procedures and involvement in confrontations with other inmates, and she is held under heavy security. The article presents six facilities: ADX Florence in the US, known as the "Alcatraz of the Rockies," where inmates are isolated for 23 hours a day; Black Dolphin prison in Russia, where inmates are forbidden to lie down or sit on the bed during the day; San Pedro prison in Bolivia, where an internal economy operates and inmates buy cells and run businesses; Tadmor prison in Syria, known for torture and executions and destroyed by ISIS in 2015; Manila prison in the Philippines, one of the most overcrowded in the world; and Dani prison in Honduras, where guards lock themselves behind doors and inmates control the wings. The article highlights the dramatic differences in prison conditions between countries.
