Netanyahu's attempt failed: the rabbi close to Ofer Winter breaks his silence

Rabbi Eli Sadan, head of the pre-military academy in Eli, breaks his silence and supports Ofer Winter, after Netanyahu and Smotrich pressured him to call for the withdrawal of Amcha Yisrael. In a recording, he said: "Only if Winter passes the electoral threshold will Netanyahu have a full right-wing government."

Rabbi Eli Sadan, head of the pre-military academy in Eli, breaks his silence and supports Ofer Winter, following attempts by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister Bezalel Smotrich to pressure him to call for the withdrawal of the Amcha Yisrael party. In a recording published today (Sunday), Rabbi Sadan said: "I think that only if he passes the electoral threshold will Netanyahu have a full right-wing government, and that is what I hope will happen." He explained that he decided to speak after it was published as if he said not to vote for Winter. Last week, Netanyahu and Smotrich met with Rabbi Sadan at his home in an attempt to advance Winter's withdrawal, but the attempts failed. Winter, who is close to Rabbi Sadan, previously said that if his party does not pass the electoral threshold, he will blame Netanyahu. The last three polls published on Friday showed that Winter's party does not pass the electoral threshold.
