Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a new campaign video this evening (Saturday) in which he defined the coming week as "fateful" for Israel. In the video, Netanyahu claimed that Iran has renewed its nuclear program and that it wants "to destroy us in a short time." Netanyahu echoed the message of US President Donald Trump, who expressed support for him, and claimed that "the existence of the State of Israel and the prevention of its destruction are at stake here." Meanwhile, it was reported in the Wall Street Journal that Trump is leaning toward returning to war with Iran but has not yet made a decision. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called for renewing the agreement with the US. Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir warned that war would almost certainly lead to the postponement of the elections on October 27.
