Hamas political bureau member Bassem Na'im warned on Tuesday of severe dangers and Israeli plans targeting the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Jewish holidays. In a statement, Na'im called for urgent action to prevent the imposition of new facts in the mosque and occupied Jerusalem, saying that Al-Aqsa faces "severe danger and malicious plans" amid extremist Israeli statements and ongoing ground activity. He added that confronting these dangers cannot be ignored, calling on everyone to act before it is too late, emphasizing that everyone means states, armies, parliaments, organizations, parties, and individuals. Na'im stressed the need to take initiative and move before the occupation takes a step, saying that "killing its plans lies in initiative," calling on Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims to be the initiators in determining the time and place of action. He affirmed that Al-Aqsa Mosque has always been a "detonator of revolutions against the occupier," warning that continued Israeli escalation towards it could lead to serious repercussions. Na'im's warnings coincide with an increase in settler incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the performance of Talmudic rituals in its courtyards, during the Jewish holidays.
