Buskila, who was Rabia's stylist, was murdered that day and her body was kidnapped to the Gaza Strip. On May 17, 2024, Israeli forces recovered her body in a special operation, along with the bodies of Yitzhak Gelernter and Shani Louk. Rabia wrote about the sense of absence that accompanies her everywhere: "The longing for you is suffocating. I miss you." She said she feels Buskila's presence at performances, in studios, on trips, and in daily routine. The post includes emotional quotes about the deep friendship that developed between them, and the shared dreams they had. Buskila managed to call her uncle Shimon on the morning of the massacre in a heartbreaking conversation in which she said: "Shimon, they shot me in the hand, I'm dying. I love you."
